METHODS OF DEVELOPING LEXICAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS AND THEIR PEDAGOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE

This research article provides a fundamental and practical investigation into the development of lexical competence within the professional and methodical training of future English language teachers in higher pedagogical education institutions. In the framework of this study, contemporary international linguodidactic trends—specifically the capabilities of corpus linguistics, task-based language teaching (TBLT), and autonomous vocabulary acquisition strategies within digital environments—are analyzed based on the latest theoretical perspectives of global scholars. The article scientifically substantiates the essence of the cognitive, interactive, communicative, and reflexive stages within an innovative pedagogical model designed for the systematic enrichment of future English teachers' vocabulary, ultimately serving to ensure the professional sustainability of future specialists.
