THE ROLE OF ARTISTIC LANGUAGE IN SHAPING THE CHARACTER OF THE PROTAGONIST IN THE SHORT STORIES OF SHUKUR XOLMIRZAYEV AND YASUNARI KAWABATA

This article presents a comparative analysis of the role of artistic speech in character creation based on the short stories of Shukur Kholmirzaev and Yasunari Kawabata. It explores authorial narration, psychological depiction, artistic detail, and symbolic expression as key tools for revealing the inner world and individual traits of literary characters. The study also identifies similarities and differences in the use of narrative techniques in Uzbek and Japanese prose.
