METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS' INFORMATION PROCESSING COMPETENCE THROUGH MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONS

This article analyzes the pedagogical potential of multimedia applications in developing primary school students’ information literacy competence. The role of multimedia tools in forming skills of searching, selecting, analyzing, processing, and presenting information is highlighted. In addition, a methodology based on the use of audio, video, animation, QR codes, and interactive tasks is proposed. The results show that the use of multimedia applications enhances students’ information-processing activities, promotes independent thinking, and fosters creativity.
