UZBEKISTAN’S POST-WAR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UNDER A CENTRALIZED PLANNING SYSTEM AND SYSTEMIC CHANGES IN AGRICULTURE

This article highlights the process of economic development of Uzbekistan in the post-war years based on a centralized planning system. In the text, using the example of the Bukhara region, the distribution of compulsory meat delivery plans to the state, differences between districts, and the unevenness of production workloads are revealed based on statistical data. In addition, in general, the study reveals the impact of the centralized economic policy of the Soviet era on regional development, the planned management of production, and its socio-economic consequences.
