THE LONG-TERM IMPACT OF THE 1924 NATIONAL-TERRITORIAL DELIMITATION ON ETHNIC PROCESSES IN CENTRAL ASIA: A HISTORICAL AND ETHNOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

This article analyzes the long-term impact of the national-territorial delimitation carried out in Central Asia in 1924 on the region's ethnic composition, ethnic space, national identity, and demographic processes based on a historical-ethnological approach. The study comprehensively examines the theoretical foundations of Soviet national policy, the political goals of national-territorial delimitation, and its impact on the historical location and ethnic development of the Uzbek, Tajik, Kazakh, Kyrgyz Turkmen and Karakalpak peoples.
