PEDAGOGICAL EFFECTIVENESS OF THE METHODOLOGY FOR ORGANIZING STUDENTS’ INDEPENDENT LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN THE “APPLICATION SOFTWARE PACKAGES” COURSE: AN ANALYSIS OF EXPERIMENTAL STUDY RESULTS

This article examines the pedagogical effectiveness of a methodology for organizing students’ independent learning activities in the Application Software Packages coursethrough the use of modern educational technologies, including Google Classroom andMathCad. The study is based on the results of a three-stage pedagogical experimentconducted during the 2022–2025 academic years. A total of 335 students from NukusState Pedagogical Institute, Chirchiq State Pedagogical University, and Navoi StateUniversity participated in the experiment. Students’ independent learning performancewas evaluated using cognitive, practical, analytical, creative, and activity-based criteria.The outcomes of the experimental and control groups were comparatively analyzed, andthe effectiveness of the proposed methodology was statistically validated using the chi-square (χ²) test.
