Abstract

This article examines the features of forms of address as a means of expressing social status. It emphasizes that forms of address in the Uzbek language are an important indicator of a speaker’s communicative culture. Through their use, speakers not only express their attitude toward the addressee but also demonstrate their own level of cultural and communicative competence.
