Abstract

The article provides a theoretical foundation for an adaptive mechanism aimed atdeveloping the econometric competence of management students in a digital learningenvironment. The study employs content analysis of scientific sources, pedagogicalmodeling, systematization, and functional decomposition. As a result, a mechanismintegrating diagnostic profiling, differentiated tasks, software-based implementation,multi-criteria assessment, rapid feedback, and corrective actions into a continuous cycleis developed. The structure of econometric competence is systematized according to areasof activity related to acquiring theoretical knowledge, practical modeling, economicinterpretation and forecasting of results, and formulating management decisions based onanalytical evidence. A distinctive feature of the mechanism is the use of digital tools not asseparate technical resources but as instruments of didactic management that adaptinstructional interventions to students’ current performance. The proposed approachenables the application of theoretical knowledge in software-based analysis and developsstudents’ ability to formulate management conclusions based on the evidence obtained.
