Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical and psychological features of developing creative competencies in prospective preschool educators. The content of creative competence is examined through the interrelationship between divergent thinking, pedagogical flexibility, creative motivation, reflective ability, and creative-communicative activity. The article substantiates opportunities for developing creative thinking in the professional training of prospective preschool educators, applying non-standard approaches to pedagogical situations, generating alternative solutions, taking into account children’s individual characteristics, and creatively organizing the educational process. It also highlights the importance of a creative learning environment, problem-based pedagogical situations, project-based activities, pedagogical training, and a reflective approach in developing creative competence. It is emphasized that the systematic development of creative competence contributes to strengthening the professional independence, pedagogical flexibility, and innovative activity of prospective preschool educators.
