Abstract

This article provides a theoretical and psychological rationale for improving the system of training personnel in express profiling and verification to enhance security at border and customs checkpoints. Drawing on D. Kahneman’s dual-process theory of cognition, the study analyzes the effects of human factors, cognitive load, and emotional fatigue on screening accuracy under conditions of time pressure and psychological stress. A four-block model integrating microexpression analysis (FACS, METT), nonverbal indicators (SPOT), and biometric verification is proposed, along with a three-stage training module.
