Abstract

The article examines the neurodidactic approach as an interdisciplinary fieldintegrating advances in neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and pedagogy and exploresits potential for developing collaboration competence among students in the vocationaleducation system. The principles and theoretical foundations of neurodidactics, as well asthe psychological and neurobiological prerequisites for collaborative learning activities, are discussed. A four-stage instructional design model is specified through the example ofdeveloping collaboration competence. Particular attention is given to the problem ofneuromyths and the limitations of applying neuroscientific findings in education. Theauthors conclude that the neurodidactic approach does not replace existing pedagogicalconcepts but complements them with scientifically grounded insights into themechanisms of learning and social interaction.
