Abstract

This article systematically analyzes the ideas of reflection, self-awareness, self-control, and self-education reflected in the pedagogical and philosophical heritage of Abu Ali ibn Sina, a prominent thinker of the Eastern Renaissance. It also provides a scientificand theoretical examination of the possibilities for integrating these ideas withcontemporary educational paradigms, including the competency-based approach, metacognitive strategies, learner-centered education, and lifelong learning. The studyexplores the internal mechanisms of cognition presented in Ibn Sina’s works, the gradualdevelopment of intellectual maturity, moral self-regulation, the dynamics of spiritual andintellectual transformation, and the epistemological and axiological essence of self-analysis in the educational process.
