Based on fifteen utterances from the novel O‘tkan kunlar (Bygone Days), this article analyzes the contextual information required to preserve interpersonal meaning in literary translation from Uzbek into English. It examines kinship-based forms of address, indirect requests, and implicit interpersonal relationships. Drawing on sample translations generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence, the article proposes a procedure for documenting contextual information. The effectiveness of the model is not evaluated experimentally.
