Abstract

This article presents an empirical study of the relationship between students’ perception of time, self-organization, and meaning-in-life orientations. Data from 270 students obtained using the ZTPI, the Self-Organization Diagnostic Method, and the Meaning-in-Life Orientations Test were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results indicate that future orientation and a positive past orientation are associated with the development of planning, goal setting, and an internal locus of control, whereas fatalistic orientation and a negative past perspective tend to weaken self-regulation. The findings may provide a practical basis for developing time-management training programs in higher education.
