THE CLASSIFICATION OF INFORMATION ON THE AGRICULTURE OF THE UZBEK KHANATES IN EUROPEAN, AMERICAN, AND RUSSIAN SOURCES

This scientific article provides a historical and scholarly analysis of the coverage and classification of agricultural issues related to the Uzbek khanates in historical works, travel accounts, and academic studies by Russian, European, and American authors. Particular attention is paid to examining information concerning farming, animal husbandry, landownership relations, irrigation systems, agricultural production, and the trade in agricultural products in the Emirate of Bukhara and the Khanates of Khiva and Kokand. Furthermore, the article presents a comparative analysis of foreign authors’ approaches to these issues and highlights the scholarly significance of their works as historical sources.
