Abstract

This study examines the effects of blended learning on students’ academicperformance through a theoretical analysis of face-to-face instruction integrated withdigital learning. Its objective is to identify the pedagogical mechanisms and conditionsthrough which this approach may influence academic achievement. International andUzbek scholarly publications were examined using a theoretical analytical method. Thesynthesis indicates that blended learning can support academic outcomes by improvingaccess to educational resources, fostering learner autonomy and academic engagement, and facilitating formative assessment and timely feedback. However, positive effects areconditional on coherent instructional design, learners’ self-regulation, digital competence, and adequate teacher support. Published meta-analyses generally report favorableaverage effects, although these differ across disciplines and learning settings. As nooriginal experiment was conducted, the results represent an interpretation of priorevidence rather than new statistical findings. The study concludes that blended learningshould be treated as an integrated pedagogical strategy and provides a conceptual basisfor further evaluation of its implementation in higher education.
