Abstract

In contemporary bioethics, issues of global justice and responsibility are closely linked to the right to health and equal access to healthcare services, medicines, and vaccines. Based on documents of the World Health Organization (WHO), UNESCO, and the United Nations (UN), the article analyzes the normative foundations of global health justice and examines the fair allocation of limited medical resources through the examples of the COVAX and SAGE mechanisms. Furthermore, drawing on the perspectives of Amartya Sen and Thomas Pogge, the article substantiates the shared responsibility of states, international organizations, businesses, and society in addressing health inequalities.
